The Cayuga County Health Department has lifted its boil water orders for residents in the Village of Moravia and Town of Sennett.
The health department announced on Sunday, March 6 that water samples taken over two consecutive days came back clean, according to The Citizen. The boil orders for both towns were issued on Friday, March 4.
The orders came in response to a chlorination system malfunctioning in the Village of Moravia and a water main break in the Town of Sennett.
