Night Shred Review

Night Shred is a specialist night time fat burner made by Inno Supps. Lots of you will know Inno Supps; they make some of the most popular bodybuilding and general fitness products on the market, including Innoshred, which is easily one of the most popular fat burners around today.

Night Shred is a night time fat burner. This means it is designed to promote fat loss during the night while you sleep. Typical fat burners are formulated to increase metabolism and promote fat loss during the day and while you train. Night time fat burners have become more popular recently as people realise how effective they can be when used properly.

But does Night Shred really work?

In this article, we’re going to review Night Shred by Inno Supps to see if it really is one of the best fat burners on the market today. We’ll look at Night Shred’s ingredients, Night Shred side effects, and how Night Shred compares to the best fat burners for men today.

Best Night Shred Alternative: ShredCBD

If you’re looking for an effective, safe, and fast acting night time fat burner, we think the best option on the market right now is ShredCBD. This natural weight loss supplement is a combined sleep aid, appetite suppressant, fat burner, and anxiolytic (anti-anxiety supplement) all rolled into one. It stacks a nice, level dose of clean, pure CBD with clinically proven, natural fat burners to maximize fat loss during the day and muscle recovery at night while you sleep.

ShredCBD is one of the best value weight loss supplements on the market right now. It provides 24/7 fat loss and recovery support while keeping stress and anxiety low, which further support weight loss and muscle mass retention. Best of all is that it does this for roughly the cost of a bad cup of coffee per day.

Night Shred Ingredients

The following ingredients are found in Inno Supps Night Shred:

  • Night Time Recovery Complex (510mg).
    • Chamomile
    • GABA
    • Valerian
    • Passionflower
  • PM Fat Burning Complex (76mg).
    • CLA
    • L-Carnitine
    • Grains of Paradise
  • Mood Enhancement Complex (35.5mg).:
    • L-Tryptophan
    • 5-HTP
  • Ashwagandha (200mg)
  • Melatonin (3mg).

Night Shred is mostly made up of proprietary blends, which only indicate their combined dosage. Therefore, it is impossible to determine how safe or effective the ingredients are; no substance is effective if you don’t take a minimally effective dose!

To maximize profits and save money, manufacturers often create proprietary blends that are stuffed full of the cheapest ingredients. They then throw in tiny amounts of the much more expensive ingredients (those that really work). Is that what Inno Supps is doing here with Night Shred? Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients and find out.

GABA

GABA is a neurochemical which helps to relax your mind and decrease anxiety. GABA is essential for restful sleep.

GABA supplements have been controversial because they are too large to cross blood-brain barriers, which means that GABA is not easily absorbed. ( 1) It is therefore better to consume nutrients like L-Theanine to boost GABA levels.

Chamomile

Chamomile tea is known to be a relaxing agent that can help the body and mind unwind. Studies that examine the benefits of Chamomile tea tend to show that it is used between 900 and 1200 mg. This is lower than the entire Nighttime Recovery Complex. (2)

Passionflower

The Aztecs first used passionflower as a folk remedy to treat anxiety and insomnia. These claims are supported by very little research. (3)

Valerian

Valerian is a common ingredient in sleep supplements. Although there are not many studies, some promising research suggests that Valerian may have a beneficial effect on relaxing the nervous system and encouraging sleep. (4)

Adult studies show that Night Shred is used between 100 and 600 mg. However, it’s impossible to determine if Night Shred has the right amount of ingredients as we don’t know how much. (5)

Grains of Paradise

Grains of Paradise is a ginger species. Some evidence suggests that it may aid in fat burning. (7)

Research is limited and participants were only given 30mg per day in the one promising study we could find. It is possible that the PM fat-burning mix is being given in a lower dose, at 76 mg.

L-Carnitine

L-carnitine is a fatty acid transporter that supposedly helps you burn fat and reduce weight. However, one placebo-controlled study over 8 weeks found no difference in weight between people who took L-carnitine and those who did not. Other studies have produced mixed results.

The recommended dosage of L-carnitine for weight loss is between 500 and 2,000 mg per day, at least in the US. However, the total blend contains 76mg. This is not even close to enough Carnitine to produce any kind of weight loss results.

CLA

Comprehensive research concluded that CLA may cause modest fat loss in the first six months. After that, fat loss plateaus.

Another study concluded that weight loss requires 3 grams per day. 10 This is more than three times the amount found in the Inno Supps Night Shred mix.

5-HTP

5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin. It improves mood and prevents people from eating excessively due to stress, boredom or sadness. The conversion of serotonin into melatonin can also help regulate sleep. The recommended starting dose for this ingredient is 50-100mg twice daily.

That said, there are doubts about the efficacy of 5-HTP, both as a sleep aid and an appetite suppressant. It is likely that much of the 5-HTP you consume orally is simply passed through the digestive system unabsorbed. This may be a wasted Night Shred ingredient.

L-Tryptophan

Tryptophan, an essential amino acid, is crucial for serotonin production. Supplementing with tryptophan can increase levels of serotonin, which is linked with improved mood and sleep quality. Taking tryptophan is likely more effective for increasing serotonin than taking 5-HTP, although you still need a large dose. It is doubtful that Night Shred contains enough o be effective.

Ashwagandha (200mg)

Ashwagandha, an Ayurvedic medicinal plant, has been shown to balance cortisol levels. This ingredient has been gaining popularity over the years. It is believed to reverse the effects of prolonged stress, and it has long-lasting health benefits.

It has been shown to improve energy levels so it might not be the best ingredient in a supplement to promote sleep. The majority of the benefits are associated with 500 to 600 mg per day. Therefore, 200 mg is considered a low dose.

Melatonin (3mg).

The body’s primary sleep hormone, melatonin, is essential. Supplementing can help you fall asleep quicker and stay asleep. Melatonin does not work as a sleeping pill. It works in conjunction with your body’s natural hormone system to promote good sleep. Melatonin has been proven to be very effective for many people, with 3 mg being the best dose. This may account for the many positive reviews that Night Shred customers have given about how it has helped them sleep.

Our Review Of Night Shred’s Ingredients

Inno Supps Night Shred contains many excellent ingredients that can improve your sleep quality. We don’t know the exact dosages so it is difficult to predict if they will work.

We do know that 3 mg of Melatonin can be an effective sleep aid. You can buy melatonin supplements at a fraction of the cost of Night Shred.

The biggest problem with this “fat burner” is the inability to actually burn fat. Many key, active Night Shred ingredients have not been proven to work, and even the ones that have promising research backing them (like CLA) cannot possibly be present in sufficient quantities.

Many proven fat-burners are missing from the Night Shred ingredients list (e.g. Glucomannan, cayenne pepper, chromium, etc).

Night Shred may help you get better sleep. The lack of transparency regarding the dosages means that there are no guarantees about the benefits of melatonin. There are better options available if you’re looking to lose fat. Overall, you can spend your money elsewhere.

Side effects of Night Shred

Is Night Shred safe to take?

Night Shred is safe and contains no stimulants so side effects are low.

It does contain 5-HTP, which is a component that increases serotonin. Night Shred should not be taken by anyone who is taking antidepressants, pain medication, or any other medications. These medications can also increase serotonin and excessive amounts of this neurochemical could prove to be very dangerous.

Night Shred also contains melanin, which can interact with blood thinners or blood pressure medications.

We don’t have enough information to determine the exact dosages so we don’t know if certain ingredients can cause nausea and diarrhea. Although we don’t think anything is too high, it’s possible that something is!

Before using any supplement, consult your doctor, especially if any prescription medications are being used.

Does Night Shred contain caffeine?

No, Night Shred does not contain any caffeine or any stimulants that might interfere with your sleep. In fact, Night Shred doesn’t contain any ingredients that cause sleep disturbances in people.

Can I take Night Shred while fasting?

Night Shred is perfect to take while fasting, and since it is a night time fat burner it is actually designed to be taken before you go a long time without eating.

Can you take Night Shred with alcohol?

It is generally advised that you avoid mixing fat burners and alcohol. This applies to Night Shred too; some of the ingredients in Night Shred may interact negatively with alcohol, especially Ashwagandha. Also, if you’re trying to improve sleep and promote fat loss, the last thing you want to be consuming is alcohol!

What Does Night Shred Cost You?

Night Shred costs $64.99 per 30 servings. There is a current offer for $44.99. This is the average price for a high quality fat-burning supplement. This product is not the best, but you will find better products at a lower price.

Night Shred Alternatives

There are a few PM fat burners on the market, such as Inno Supps Night Shift, but many of these products fall short in their ingredient profiles, which could mean that you end up with a weak product or a product that doesn’t work. We recommend ShredCBD, a CBD-based natural fat burner.

We think if you’re looking for a combined sleep aid and fat burner, the best option on the market right now is ShredCBD.

ShredCBD is a purpose designed to maximize sleep quality and duration while also promoting fat loss. The difference is that ShredCBD promotes weight loss round the clock, 24 hours a day, while also reducing stress and enhancing sleep.

ShredCBD combines high quality CBD with appetite suppressants and powerful fat burners to attack excess, stubborn body fat from all angles.

Night Shred Review Conclusion: Is it a good night time fat burner?

Customers have left glowing reviews about Night Shred, claiming they noticed improvements in their sleep. We believe this to be due to a high dose of melatonin. This cheap remedy has been shown to improve sleep quality.

Because of the lack transparency in dosages, it is difficult to know how effective other ingredients are. However, based on their likely under dose rate for whole blends, it is possible to estimate their effectiveness.

Besides the benefits of better sleep, this product does not directly help with weight loss.

Overall, there are better products available for fat burning and sleeping. Your money will be better spent elsewhere. For those who are not interested in Night Shred, check out the following options.
