State police say they’ve located the vehicle involved in fatal hit-and-run in Livingston County

State police provided another update on the fatal hit-and-run crash on I-390 on Sunday.

Troopers say police in Geneseo believe they have located the vehicle involved in Sunday’s fatal hit-and-run in Livingston County.

Investigators are continuing with their investigation and are still asking anyone with information to call the State Police at 585-398-4100.


Buffalo man killed in hit-and-run on I-390 in Livingston County

State police have provided an update on the fatal hit-and-run crash on I-390 in Livingston County.

According to a news release, Steven Drachenberg, 36, of Buffalo was struck and killed by a passing motorist as he walked in the passing lane of I-390 southbound in the town of Groveland.

It happened a little after 3 a.m., according to troopers.

State police say he likely ran out of gas and had exited his vehicle.

Pedestrian struck on I-390 in Livingston County: Hit-and-run investigation underway

State Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Livingston County that happened on I-390.

Troopers say a pedestrian was struck in the southbound lanes between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.


Troopers have reported that the accident occurred about a quarter mile north of Exit 7 (Mount Morris/Letchworth State Park), directly across from the American Rock Salt Mine.
