One ticketed after property damage crash in Junius

Police say an Interlaken man was ticketed after a property damage crash in Seneca County.

According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Deep S. Patel, 37, of Interlaken after responding to a property damage accident in Junius.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that Patel failed to stop at a stop sign and continued straight down a driveway where he crashed through a garage located on the property. No injuries were reported on scene. Patel was issued a uniform traffic ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign.

He is to appear in the Junius Town Court at a later date.
