There are one million families in the state of Louisiana that could be eligible for up to $127.80 per month in food stamps.
The additional pandemic assistance will go out in April and May of 2022.
This for for kids who are in kindergarten through 12th grade and eligible for P-EBT benefits.
The students eligible are those that would normally get free or discounted school meals.
The students will get money for missed meals due to the pandemic.

Children fully virtually learning will get the full amount of $127.80 per month.
The amount ranges between $21.30 and $127.80.
The second round totaled $811 million dollars.
The benefits will go onto the same P-EBT card used before.

The card differs from regular SNAP benefit EBT cards.
P-EBT food stamps are good for 9 months past when they’re issued.
