New York State Senator John Mannion has received the endorsement of the Cayuga County Democratic Committee for the third election in a row and his first time as an incumbent.
The committee voted on Wednesday, February 2 to endorse Mannion, D-Geddes, for reelection in the newly redrawn 52nd state Senate District, according to The Citizen. The district contains the city of Auburn and the towns of Owasco and Sennett in Cayuga County as well as parts of Onondaga County.
Mannion was elected in 2020 to represent the 50th state Senate District. He is seeking his second term in the state Senate.
