Traffic stop leads to DWAI charge for Seneca Falls resident

Police arrested a 53-year-old Seneca Falls man following an investigation into a traffic stop in December 2021.

According to a news release, Nicholas Carter, 53, was stopped and found to be in an intoxicated condition.


He was transported to Geneva General Hospital for a blood draw, according to police.

Carter was processed and released pending results of that blood draw. When the results returned, he was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.

The charge will be answered at a later date.
