Airy Acres Vineyard is pleased to announce their first ever wines, a Riesling and Cabernet Franc both from 2020. Both wines are available to purchase.
Overlooking Cayuga Lake, Airy Acres is a third-generation, family-owned vineyard located north of the village of Interlaken, between Geneva and Ithaca, New York. The vineyard is named after a functional vintage grass airstrip on the property.
Since planting their first vines in 2015, Airy Acres has been a well-known and celebrated vineyard producing high-quality fruit that is sold to many local wineries in the Finger Lakes Region. In the coming years, a tasting room will be built next to the vineyards with a production building following afterward.
Airy Acre’s first release, featuring a 2020 Riesling and 2020 Cabernet Franc, is currently available to purchase for pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Wines from the abundant 2021 harvest will be available in the early spring, including a dry and semi-dry Riesling, a Gewurztraminer, a ‘bubbly’ Gewurztraminer, a Gewurztraminer/Riesling blend, and a Cabernet Franc Rose.
Check out their website for more information as well as access the online store. You can add your email to their mailing list for updates on future releases, where the wines are available to purchase, and updates on the construction of the new tasting room and production facility.
