Upstate Medical University will offer COVID-19 testing at the State Fairgrounds on Sunday for the next three weeks.
Syracuse.com reports the move is in response to the increased demand for testing. The testing site at the fairgrounds infirmary will be open January 16, 23 and 30 from 8-1. The site will also be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
Appointments are necessary and can be made the same day. To make an appointment:
- If you have an Upstate MyChart account.
- If you don’t have an Upstate MyChart account.
- Call 315-464-2778, press 0 and follow the prompts. Registration is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There may be a call wait time. Registration is not open on weekends.
Walk-in appointments are available at Upstate Community Hospital in Suite 1K Monday through Friday. Both testing sites will be closed Monday for the Dr. Martin Luther King Day holiday.
