It was expected that the Buffalo Bills’ assistant coaches will see their fair share of interviews around the NFL this offseason.
Now an assistant front-office member has drawn interest from an NFC East team.
Bills assistant general manager Joe Schoen will be one of the first to interview for the New York Giants’ vacant general manager position, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The news comes just hours after New York’s GM Dave Gettleman announced his retirement from the NFL.
Schoen came to the Bills via the Miami Dolphins where he was their player personnel director. Bills GM Brandon Beane made Schoen his first hire when he was appointed to his position in 2017.
