Syracuse man faces several charges after pursuit through multiple Seneca County towns

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, January 7 around 6:20 a.m., deputies arrested a 34-year-old Syracuse man.

Shane D. Delello, 34, led deputies on a pursuit after deputies attempted a traffic stop.

Deputies pursued Delello’s vehicle through the towns of Fayette, Varick and Romulus. He was ultimately stopped for a speeding violation, and failure to obey a police officer when he did not pull over for deputies. Upon further investigation, it was found that Delello’s drivers license was suspended/revoked. Delello was charged with speeding, failure to obey a police officer, and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Delello was released on appearance tickets and is set to appear in the Town of Fayette Court and Town of Varick Court on later dates to answer to the charges.
