Auburn City Council swears two members in for new terms, including newcomer Ginny Kent

After the 12th toll of the bell above Memorial City Hall on New Year’s Day at noon, the Auburn City Council held its traditional meeting to swear in two councilors for their new terms.

Before that, outgoing Councilor Debby McCormack made brief remarks, saying this day was for her successor, Ginny Kent and re-elected Councilor Terry Cuddy.

Cuddy talked about the challenges facing the city and all Americans in 2022.

Kent took a moment to acknowledge the women who had come before her in city government.

The meeting was attended by former Mayors Tim Lattmore and Guy Cosentino.
