Deputies report the arrest of a Rochester man following a single-car crash in Wayne County.
According to a news release, Christopher Santiago-Adams, was operating a vehicle that struck a telephone pole along West Walworth Road. Then after the collision, he fled the scene.
Deputies located him a few hundred yards from the scene and was found to be intoxicated.
Santiago-Adams was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, possession of an open container, and moving from lane unsafely.
The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
