It’s important to know these hours if you have any business you may need to conduct between now and one of these holidays.
Big name banks like Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo are all modifying their hours for the holiday season.

Will banks be operating on Christmas and New Year’s?
Chase Bank is a newer bank and opened in 2000.
They recognize bank holidays, like most banks do.
Both Christmas and New Year’s Day are recognized, so Chase and many other banks will be closed for the federal holidays.

Will banks be open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve?
While Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are federally recognized holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are not.
