Town of Arcadia man faces additional charge after warrant arrest

A Farmington man faces resisting arrest charges after he was picked up on a bench warrant out of town of Arcadia Court.


Wayne County Deputies arrested Brian Vanwinckle, age 28 of Farmington. It is alleged Mr. Vanwinckle ran from deputies when they attempted to take him into custody for the active bench warrant.

Mr. Vanwinckle was transported to Wayne County Jail for Centralized Arraignment on 12/17/21 at 7:00 PM and was remanded on the Warrant. Vanwinckle was issued an appearance ticket for the charge of resisting arrest and is scheduled to appear at Newark Village Court on 1/5/22 at 1:30 PM to answer that charge. He is scheduled to appear at the Arcadia Town Court on 12/22/21 at 3:30 PM for further court proceedings on the Bench Warrant.
