Fairport woman charged with DWI after traffic stop in Macedon

A Fairport woman was arrested and charged with DWI after a traffic stop in the town of Macedon.


Wayne C0unty Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Darlene M. Robare-Kessler, age 49, of Fairport for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .08 % BAC or Greater and Driving on Shoulder. Ms. Robare-Kessler’s vehicle was observed by deputies leaving the shoulder of State Route 31F in the Town of Macedon several times before initiating a traffic stop. Subsequent questioning led deputies to believe Robare-Kessler was under the influence of alcohol, and after failing field sobriety testing, she was placed under arrest. Ms. Robare-Kessler was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where she submitted to a chemical test which produced a Blood Alcohol Content of .13%.

Robare-Kessler was processed and released on appearance tickets. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Macedon Court at a later date and time to answer to the charges.
