Geneva man accused of intimidating a witness after November burglary

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a Geneva man faces new charges related to an attempted break-in that happened earlier in the month of November in the town of Geneva.

Derrell Eldridge, 28, was charged with intimidating a witness, attempted burglary, and criminal mischief.

The charges stem from an incident that happened in the town of Geneva where Elbridge attempted to break into a residence and threaten another person.

During the incident he also broke a window on the building.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail without bail. He’s currently on parole for a previous felony conviction.

During the investigation, deputies were assisted by the Geneva and Canandaigua Police Departments, as well as New York State Parole.
