It was quickly lifted and there was no risk to the public. Police say the officer was treated at Thompson Hospital and released.
The 17-year-old was charged with robbery and escape. He was transported to the Monroe County Children’s Center pending a future court date.
The 13-year-old was released to the custody of the Sheriff’s Office in Wayne County where he’s listed as a missing person wanted by the Newark Police Department.
Additional charges are pending for both teens.
