The Delta Variant has been around for awhile now, but details about it are still emerging and researchers are still learning.
The FDA has come up with a list of signs to signal whether someone has the Delta Variant strain or a different one.
The list comes from studies on COVID-19 survivors that have had the Delta Variant.
These symptoms include:
- Fever and chills
- Sore throat or cough
- Low energy and fatigue
- Headache
- Nausea
- Loss of smell
- Loss of taste
- Common cold symptoms
Unfortunately, these symptoms are similar to original COVID, but the difference is they come on much quicker and more severely. They’re also much more noticeable in young people.
