The Town of Walworth is looking to add to its roster of snow plow drivers, but after placing an ad in the paper, the highway superintendent for the Town of Walworth says there have been no applications.
The team is down one driver already and with added routes needs to add an additional driver.
Reasons could be the need for a CDL, the hours, but COVID has been the biggest reason for employment issues.
News 10 reports that other areas like Irondequoit and Penfield aren’t facing staffing issues, but that the DOT is working diligently to make sure the roads are taken care of this winter.
