The Johnson & Johnson booster vaccine has been unanimously voted to be approved by the FDA advisory panel.
The emergency use authorization would allow adults 18 and older to get a booster shot two months after a vaccination.
The 19-0 vote was made after evidence from the phase three trials showed increased protection by 94% against moderate to severe COVID-19.
