A man had been shot twice in the stomach while sitting in his car before arriving to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
The man told officials he had been sitting inside of his vehicle on Cocoa Bean Drive in Cicero before 5:30 a.m. when he was shot.
Deputies found evidence that the shooting did occur in that location but are still looking into the exact circumstances of the shooting.
The man, in his 30s, is expected to survive.
