Wayne County man arrested for criminal contempt after violating stay away order

A Wayne County man has been arrested for criminal contempt in the first degree after violating a stay away order.

Ontario County Deputies arrested Dwayne Leon Woolfolk, 35, after investigation events that occurred on Sept. 24.

On Sept. 24 Woolfolk allegedly physically struck a woman during a domestic dispute in the Town of Gorham. A duly served stay away order was violated.


Woolfolk turned himself in without incident and was committed to Ontario County Jail on pre-arraignment detention.

He will face the charges in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
