Ithaca police responded to the report of a stabbing on Oct. 7 around 9:49 p.m.
A male victim was located in the 300 Block of West State Street with stab wounds to his upper body and leg.
A female victim was later located with a less serious cut to the leg.
First aid was administered on scene by Bang’s Ambulance and Ithaca Fire Department.
The male victim is in stable condition and was transported to a regional trauma center for treatment. The female was taken to a local hospital.
It is believed the suspect and victims know each other and it was not a random attack.
