Walmart creates a new drone delivery program

Walmart will partner with Zipline, a drone delivery program, to deliver medical supplies around the Northwest Arkansas area.

Zipline has been seen in other cities like Pea Ridge and Farmington.

The deliveries will begin as soon as the Federal Aviation Administration says it’s okay.

Trial deliveries will begin near Walmart’s headquarters.

Zipline will work out of a Walmart and deliver within a 50 mile radius.

The delivery company is the largest drone delivery network and began in 2016 in Rwanda.

It mainly focused on delivering medical supplies and over the years has delivered over 200,000 products needed in health facilities across multiple countries, helping millions of people.
