There were 20 new COVID-19 cases reported by Ontario County Public Health on Wednesday.
17 cases are in the community and 3 are within long-term care.
The individuals ages range from 5 years old to over 90 years old.
In Ontario County since the start of the pandemic there have been 8,778 positive cases, 116 deaths, and 8,435 recoveries.
For the week of Sept. 21 to 27 there were 227 new cases, and the week before that there were 202 cases reported.
The highest recent week for newly reported cases was Aug. 6 to 12 with 243 cases, and the lowest was 2 cases between June 22 and 28.
