There will be a benefit Ziti & Meatball dinner on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 5 p.m. at the Kuneytown Sportsman’s Club, 3735 N. Hoster Road, Seneca Falls, NY. Cost of the meal is $12.
Linda Zwick, candidate for re-election to the Fayette Town Council, will be sponsoring this dinner.
All proceeds and donations will be donated to the Kuneytown Sportsman’s Club for their R3 youth program for outdoor activities and safety.
R3 stands for recruitment, retention, and reactivation. R3 activities seek to create new participants or increase participation rates of current or lapsed outdoor recreationists. Over the years fewer people have been participating in traditional outdoor activities, making it harder to achieve their conservation missions.
Our youths need to get involved in outdoor activities and education, especially gun safety and education. The future funding for our fisheries and wildlife conservation programs depends on having enough people actively involved in those outdoor pursuits. Outdoor recreationists engage in outdoor wildlife and fisheries including, but not limited to, hunting, fishing, wildlife observation, photography, education and interpretation. Kuneytown is working in conjunction with the Seneca Co. 4-H program for our youths.
