Taxpayers have now spent over $2 million dollars for outside attorneys from March through June for the investigation into former Governor Andrew Cuomo.
WGRZ out of Buffalo obtained documents that did not cover the last month of investigation, but a defense attorney told them costs would be a lot higher.
$31,000 was spent on computer research systems, transportation, and shipping costs.
That dollar amount is for the investigation led by Attorney General Letitia James. Her report was finished last month and goes into detail about the sexual harassment allegations multiple women have made.
The bill is only expected to increase as the Assembly Judiciary Committee continues their work on an impeachment case.
A public report is expected to be available but no date has been announced for when it will be released.
