Two men have been arrested for the armed robbery in a Speedway Gas Station parking lot in Ithaca that happened Aug. 29.
On Sept. 23 Ronald Snyder, 41, of Ithaca, and Joseph Esposito, 35, of Ithaca, were arrested by Ithaca Police for their roles in the armed robbery of the Elmira Road Speedway Gas Station.
Esposito was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and Snyder was charged with robbery in the first degree.
Additional charges are pending.
The weapons used during the robbery as well as the vehicle have been recovered.
During the robbery one the men approached the victim in the parking lot of the location and pointed what looked like a rifle at the victim, demanding the keys to the taxi he was driving.
They then drove away in the taxi and it was later found abandoned in Schuyler County.
