U.S. sees its first ever mobile WIC market

Rochester’s Foodlink has created the first ever mobile WIC market in the country.

WIC is a program that provides nutritional foods to women and their children up to the age of 5.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is working hard to make WIC more accessible to people in New York.

The mobile shop is open at the following locations and times:

Saturday, Cameron Community Ministries at 48 Cameron St. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Saturday, School 33 at 500 Webster Ave. from noon to 2 p.m.

The stops are available through November.
