Sheriff Brian Schenck would like to announce that in an effort to better meet the needs of the Citizens of Cayuga County, the Sheriff’s Office is evaluating its hours of operation for particular services.
As part of this evaluation the Sheriff’s Office Identification Section will be open expanded hours on September 18th and 19th .
The Identification Section will be providing service to those needing to amend their New York State Pistol Permit (adding or disposing of handguns, or other minor modifications like address changes).
The expanded hours will be:
Saturday September 18th from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday September 19th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
