A Prattsburgh man has been arrested after an investigation into a suspicious fire in Howard a few months ago.
Sheriff Jim Allard says James Lisefski, 43, was arrested after an investigation into a suspicious fire in December.
It’s alleged that he intentionally damaged a building by starting a fire and recklessly creating a substantial risk of injury to others.
As result, Lisefski has been charged with arson as a felony, and reckless endangerment as a misdemeanor.
He was held without bail, according to the Sheriff. Allard thanked the fire investigation team and Corning City Police Department who assisted with the investigation.
