Following an incident Tuesday night that left two people suffering stab wounds, a woman is now facing felony charges.
The incident happened on Madison Street and police responded around 9:16 p.m. to find two individuals suffering from stab wounds. They were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The suspect, Sarah M. Kline, 36, of Auburn, had fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.
After learning she was at a location on Orchard Street Wednesday night around 8 p.m., police arrived and arrested her.
Kline is charged with two counts of second degree assault as well as two counts of third degree possession of a weapon.
She was arraigned in Cayuga County and is being held at Cayuga County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
