Prices of homes increase the fastest they have in the last 30 years in the United States

Due to people moving from the pandemic and a housing shortage, the overall price increase for houses has jumped 18.6% in the United States.

May saw an increase of 16.6%.


The national index has risen by 41.3% since its last peak in July of 2006 and the 20 city composite reached its high point with 29.9% for the same month.

The 10 city composite rose 24.1% from June of 2006.

Every city that makes up the 20 city composite saw price increases and Boston joined the list.
