COVID Passports are becoming more common as vaccine mandates allow businesses to require proof of vaccine

COVID-19 Passports work as digital or paper documentation to show proof of vaccination quickly and help people get into places more quickly.

The type of passport someone has depends on their settings and region.

For example, California and New York have launched their own digital passport that can be shown to establishments upon entry. The pass is a QR code that can be scanned.

Showing the paper card or a photo of it works for most places as well.

Places that enforce various vaccine requirements include Denmark, Greece, France, Italy, certain Canadian provinces, and cities in the United States like New Orleans, New York, and San Francisco. The rules are relaxed in some places where they accept negative COVID tests, and flashing the QR code works as well.

As mandates become more common, businesses are widely starting to require proof.

As more places require the proof then the passports become more common and convenient.
