Congressman Tom Reed says he is working toward recovery efforts following the flash flooding in Steuben County and in contact with elected officials as well as emergency services.
His office is working to connect families that were impacted with the correct organizations to help rebuild their lives.
He is also in contact with FEMA and asks families to document all flood related damages and report them to the County Office of Emergency Management.
In order for the county to qualify for FEMA aid, there needs to be $30 million dollars in damages from the flood.
