Hochul’s administration is getting right to work with cleaning house and has already removed officials implicated in the report that found Andrew Cuomo guilty of sexual harassment. Next is the nursing home scandal.
A 45 day review of other administration personnel is happening to see what roles they had in decisions made with the reporting of deaths in nursing homes.
The criminal investigation out of Brooklyn is looking into how the Cuomo administration reported the fatalities.
Some administrators that were named in the report include Melissa DeRosa, Rich Azzopardi and former Financial Services Superintendent Linda Lacewell and they no longer work for New York State.
The culture Hochul is working toward is one where people feel that they will be okay and not need to always be looking over their shoulder.
