Seneca Falls man faces felony charges after welfare fraud investigation

Deputies report the arrest of a Seneca Falls man following a welfare fraud investigation.

David Lewin, 53, of Seneca Falls was charged with two counts of offering a false instrument for filing, as a felony, as well as fourth-degree welfare fraud.

It is alleged that Lewin failed to disclose household income while receiving monetary benefits from Seneca County.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
