Local pediatrician shares safety measure when bringing children to the New York State Fair this year

Some people who normally bring their children to the New York State Fair are expressing concern this year with the Delta variant.

A pediatrician from St. Joseph’s Primary, Dr. Sarah Marsh, plans to bring her unvaccinated children to the fair.

Her recommendations include not bringing children under 2, wearing masks no matter where you’re located, using hand sanitizer frequently, and avoiding crowded places.

She says children suffered from mental health issues with the last year and suggests giving them the normal experience of the fair, as long as it’s done safely.
