A well-known German restaurant in Canandaigua has closed.
The closure was announced on Facebook without much warning, and left many in the community scratching their heads.
The Main Street restaurant has been around for 13 years and has officially closed. “We gratefully thank all the loyal guests who we have had the honor and privilege to serve over the years,” Rheinblick German Restaurant posted to Facebook.
The restaurant was opened by Gary and Gudrun Klemens. Additional information about the closure was not provided in the post.
However, posts from earlier in the year paint a similar picture to those faced by many restaurant owners- such as staffing challenges.
