Syracuse wide receiver Taj Harris is on the Reese’s Senior Bowl Preseason Watch List, the organization announced on Thursday.
Harris earned All-ACC Third Team honors last season when he ranked fifth in the league in receptions per game (5.8) and sixth in receiving yards per game (73.3). He started all 10 games for the Orange and led the squad with 58 receptions for 733 yards and five touchdowns.
He has also already been named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, which is presented annually to the nation’s top receiver.
Syracuse has previously sent 59 players to the Senior Bowl, perhaps the nation’s most prestigious all-star game. Prior participants have included Art Monk, Donovan McNabb, Dwight Freeney, Joe Morris and many other all-time greats. Under head coach Dino Babers, Riley Dixon, Amba Etta-Tawo, Alton Robinson and Ifeatu Melifonwu have all previously been selected to the game.
