Steuben man pleads guilty to DWI, vehicular manslaughter charges after crash that killed his wife

A Steuben County man has pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges stemming from a 2019 snowmobile crash that killed his wife.

District Attorney Brook Bakers said several sentencing options are available for the judge- and that the plea was in full satisfaction of the indictment.

Gee was operating a snowmobile with his wife on January 21, 2019 in Tuscarora when state police say he pulled onto State Route 417 into the path of a vehicle.

Both were ejected- and neither were wearing helmets.

BillieJo Gee, his wife, died at Guthrie Corning Hospital. David Gee was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital.
