There have been two recent attacks involving rabid foxes in Cayuga County, raising concerns over rabies in the area.
Executive Director of the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY, Carol Russell, says it’s good to keep cats indoors and if your dog is outdoors, to be outside with them.
There will be a free rabies clinic on Saturday, August 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter and is first come first served.
People need to wear masks.
