With the Go Bowling at the Glen race happening this weekend, many NASCAR fans were able to enjoy it for the first time in two years, and watch Kyle Larson win is fifth victory of the NASCAR Cup Series.
Chase Elliot finished second, after his car failed the pre-race inspection. His crew chief was suspended and team received a $25,000 fine.
Elliot managed to come in second after starting in the back due to the setback.
Larson was able to pass Truex closer to the end, followed by Elliot. Truex has come in second to Elliot the last two races and this weekend came in behind him once again.

In 2020 the race was moved to Daytona International Speedway due to the pandemic, making fans even more eager for the race this year.
The camping area of the racetrack sold out for the very first time this year.
The likelihood of the race selling out was slim due to full capacity not being announced until June.
