Driver treated at RGH, facing DWI charge after crashing SUV through barricade, ending up overturned in creek bed

The West Webster Fire Department responded to a crash involving an SUV which wound up in a creek bed along Lake Road.

It happened around 4 a.m. on Sunday along Lake Road near Shipbuilders Creek Road, according to first responders.

The vehicle was found in the creek bed, and the driver had to be helped out. He was transported to Rochester General Hospital for treatment- and eventually arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and speeding.

The driver was not identified though.

The area where the crash happened has been closed for construction.
