Cuomo authorized the investigation of the Attorney General into the claims made against him for sexual harassment on February 28.
At the time three women came forward, and since then there have been more.
Now, Cuomo is question if the integrity of the investigation. He referenced concerns surrounding the independence of the reviewers.
After Cuomo said to trust the process of the investigation, he now believes that AG Letitia James is using the investigation to move ahead politically and run against him in 2022.
The independent attorneys chosen by James’ office are Joon Kim and Anne Clark. Cuomo is said to have had an interview with them July 17.
When asked exactly what his concerns were with the attorneys, his only answer was to “Google” them.
Kim was involved in an investigation that looked into Cuomo choosing to close the Moreland Commission. The commission had been charged with looking into corruption in state government.
Cuomo continues to deny any wrongdoing and claims the truth and facts will come out.
