Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of a Pennsylvania teen following an assault investigation at the Ontario County Jail.
This week Malik Mauche Weems, 18, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was arrested for second-degree assault after an investigation at the county jail.
Investigators say Weems repeatedly punched and stomped on the head of another inmate- causing physical injury.
The victim was treated F.F. Thompson Hospital and released back to the Ontario County Jail.
The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
