Keuka College’s Class of 1971 works to raise money for chapel restoration on campus

The Keuka College class of 1971 is attempting to raise funds that will restore the Norton Chapel on the campus.

The goal is $80,000 and currently $54,000 has been raised.

The restoration will include new exterior wood and new paint for the fascia and cross.

The chapel has been used for many things over the years by the college, as well as locally as a wedding venue and for baptisms.

The goal is to complete the restoration before the start of classes in the fall so the deadline to donate is August 15th.

To donate, head to keuka.edu/giving/give-now and type in “Class of 71 50th Reunion Project” in the “other gift designation box.”

Checks can be sent to Keuka College with “Chapel Fund” written for the memo and mailed to the College’s Office of Development, 141 Central Ave., Keuka Park, NY 14478.

Include the names of those donating to be included in the thank you ad in the Chronicle-Express.
