Lyons High School has announced their valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2021.
Connor Bastian was named valedictorian and Lucy Dobbins was named salutatorian.
Bastian is the recipient of a Regents Diploma with advanced Designation with Honors plus annotation of Mastery in Science and Mathematics.
He was involved in athletics as well as a member of the National Honors Society.
He will be attending the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Dobbins also received a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation and attended the New Visions Medical Careers Program.
Dobbins was the senior class secretary, president of Varsity Club, and a member of Masterminds.
She was also a member of the National Honor Society and captain of the soccer, tennis, and indoor and outdoor track teams. She was a sectional champion for the 4×400 meter relay.
She also works as a pharmacy technician at Dobbins Drugs Inc.
She had honors and awards including Daughter of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award and High Honor Roll.
Dobbins will be attending Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
