The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark woman following a domestic incident in the town of Arcadia on State Route 31.
Deputies arrested Diana Rivera, 22, of Arcadia for criminal mischief, harassment, petit larceny, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and grand larceny.
She’s accused of getting into an argument with another person over money, which eventually became physical. Rivera punched her father and prevented him from calling 911 by taking his phone.
She then left the residence in her father’s vehicle and took his debit card. Rivera also used the debit card without his permission.
She was transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment and will answer the charges at a later date.
